We spent a week in Katherine to begin with and one of the first things we did was go to RAAF base Tindal to go swimming and to check out our old home. When I went to the swimming pool, it had changed a lot. There where these new change rooms that were all done up really nicely and had modern looking showers and toilets.
Also where we stayed, we went fishing every day down at the Katherine river. I never seemed to catch anything but I found about $70 worth of lures.
Finally, one of my favourite parts was the Katherine gorge cruise - it was stunning! There where so many cool rocks and cliffs.Read more
