Vietnam History Museum

The Vietnam History Museum is a nice piece of architecture influenced by French colonialism and opened in 1929; initially to showcase Asian art. It evolved over time to focus on Vietnam's history. It explores the country’s prehistoric times such as the Bronze Age (Đông Sơn civilization) the series of dynasties, invaders (Mongolia), Cham and Khmer culture, the Nguyen dynasties leading up until the French withdrawal from the country in 1954.Læs mere
