T-7 Days

Only 7 days left. I was ready couple weeks ago - now I can only wait - and follow the weather rapports. Is it going to rain? Sunshine? Cold? Warm?

According to www.caminoweather.com and their historical data - the lowest temperature on Camino, last 15 years, was -8°C, - the highest +36°C (27th April to 23rd May). Highest point on Camino is around 1500m above see level - everything but snow would be OK :)

Another big question - what kind of shoes do I take? My favorite Adidas Terrex light shoes or Gore-Tex? Light shoes get dry quite quickly - but provide no protection from rain - Gore-tex are keeping water out - but also keeping sweat inside the shoes. I will probably take my Gore-tex shoes on - and change socks every 10-15 km on hot days.Læs mere
