Auckland & Hobbiton

After waking up early today we went first to Auckland and then to Hobbiton.

Last night we slept in our car to show my dad my old New Zealand way of traveling.
I liked Auckland the last time I been there and I like it still, it’s a very nice city with a lot of old buildings.
We enjoyed the bay with a coffee and walked around for a while.
I also got a SIM card (most expensive one so far).

After Auckland we had a 1 1/2 hour drive to Hobbiton. It was really nice and for me as a Lord of the rings fan even better. Our guide was a bit crazy but I don’t care I just want to see the houses.
If you never watched lord of the rings then something is not ok with you I guess.

Tonight it’s motel time again, sometimes you just need a bed and a shower.
We are in Taupo now and continue our road-trip tomorrow more in the south of the north island.Read more
