Conrad to Jasper

Had coffee and cereal at Conrad and left about 7:00. Crossed border at Sweetgrass Montana. Bought booze at duty free shop. Bought groceries n Lethbridge. A lot of weather, snow and rain and some sun. Bushell took wrong turn at Calgary and had to double back. Bevis and I had lunch at AandW waiting for Bushell. Drove to Banff, stopped at Lake Luisse. I was expecting the turquoise colored water but found white snow. The lake was frozen. It was very cool to see. Stopped half way to Jasper for a cocktail and snacks. Continued to Jasper for gas and several Elk sittings. Spent the night about 25 miles west headed to Prince George down a dirt road next to a beautiful lake. Had scallops and rice for a late dinner.Lue lisää
