Day 25: The 3 Cities

The great thing about a placement in Malta is its not too far for family to visit!
Julie and I were persuaded by an elderly ferryman to take a traditional Maltese boat ride from Valletta to the 3 cities, mainly Vittoriosa. Completed a walking tour through the picturesque narrow alleyways to explore the sights of the Norman House, Inquisitors Palace and Church of St Lawrence, which homes a statue of St Nicholas ~ who really was a little fellow!
When in Malta always remember to look up, the ceilings in churches are incredible as is the ornate stone work surrounding some of the windows on houses.Læs mere
