Day 25: The 3 Cities

The great thing about a placement in Malta is its not too far for family to visit!
Julie and I were persuaded by an elderly ferryman to take a traditional Maltese boat ride from Valletta to the 3 cities, mainly Vittoriosa. Completed a walking tour through the picturesque narrow alleyways to explore the sights of the Norman House, Inquisitors Palace and Church of St Lawrence, which homes a statue of St Nicholas ~ who really was a little fellow!
When in Malta always remember to look up, the ceilings in churches are incredible as is the ornate stone work surrounding some of the windows on houses.En savoir plus
