Day 26: Windswept at St Peter's Pool

Marsaxlokk looks completely different on a Sunday with its busy and extensive market selling everything from fresh fish to shoes. Not so much a ghost town now. Bought some local sweet treats for our picnic at St Peter's Pool. This is a lovely bay to catch some rays and even have a swim (which I might consider doing in May!?) Took a beautiful 5.5km walk over the headland to get back to Marsaskala. Took a good hour so was nice to break the walk with wine at St Thomas Bay restaurant.Baca lagi
