It was devastating witnessing all that went on during the Vietnam War and the years following.

We mooched across the city heading for the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. We walked past the Independence Palace which looked stunning from outside the gates and then went on to the Notre Dame. LikeLue lisää
I'm always down for a market and was looking for some delicious food and cheap drinks. This market was definitely not that. Absolutely chocka full of shops of clothes, nick knacks and dried foods.Lue lisää
We spotted an even better looking rooftop bar from the soul bar. It was 4 stories up and had an awesome vibes. The beers went down well as we people watched.
I searched out the best Phõ near us and this what was recommended. Delicious! Just what we needed to end the day.
Our first stop on the bus tour was the oldest Buddhist Temple in South Vietnam. Approx 178 years old. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place despite the amount of tour buses parked outside.

In a tired daze last night I booked what I thought was the Mekong Delta River and Chi Chi Tunnels tour. Turns out it wasn't.... Just the Mekong Delta today with the Buddhist Temple on the way. WeLue lisää
