Day one of slowly deep freezing

Had an amazing day discovering Pest. Its bitterly cold and the wind is high but we powered through. Dropped our cases off at the apartment and went straight to the Hugarian Opera house to check it out before booking our tickets for tonight performance by piotr beczala accompanied by piano. Amazing 👏 We then went to the Christmas markets a d bought a warm kinder drink. Think it was rum...it was warm! We then went for a walk parliament building along the danube, picking up the Shoes on the Danube bank memorial. We then finally walked with the wind to the Great Synagogue which is the largest in the world. On the way back we picked up a yummy Chimney cake. After a coffee and warm bath we hit the Christmas markets for dinner and then to the amazing evening performance at the opera. Finishing with a pint (330ml) in the neighbouring bar. After the 0130am start I am ready for bed!!Leer más
