Day 2 - Buda

Today we walked over the chain Bridge to the medieval town of Buda; a UNESCO world heritage site. We visited the Royal Palace, Hungarian National Gallery, Matyas Church and the Fisherman's Bastion. Walking then up to Margaret Island for a little wander. Then walking over the Margaret Bridge we walked a little of the Danube to visit the Parliament building. Which unfortunately was closed for official business. We took an evening walk to see the sites of Budapest lit up before hitting Aldi for dinner 🤣Lue lisää
