The Lufra Hotel is perched above the famous Tessellated Pavement at Eaglehawk Neck on the Tasman Peninsular and then there is a huge beach that leads to Pirates Bay. It was high tide when we set off to the Tessellated Pavement down a short track and wooden stairs. We could see some of the rock formations - but not all. So we skipped across (don't try to imagine twinkle toes me) the rocks in between waves coming in and flowing across the flat paths.

The beach is miles long - or so it seems. Mary took off at pace while I stayed behind. However, she seem to be having fun so I went to join her - about 2kms away.Läs mer
