Botanica 2021

One last thing before we leave Brisbane tomorrow.

The Botanical Gardens had open air art exhibition in the City Botanic Gardens. We went thinking a small Vivid. Well it really it only had 9 installations and a couple of them were just weird no light just chalk drawing on the grass or something with weird meanings that required a lot of thought which to us meant nothing. However, there were a couple of very interesting ones.

The best one was Ripple which is an immersive audiovisual experience that is projection-mapped on the lagoon surface. The audience navigates through the physical transformation of water via a touch screen, from ice to vapour. We even spoke to the artist.Read more
