Kanchanaburi on The River Kwai

Kanchanaburi is a town in west Thailand. It’s known for the Death Railway, built during WWII. The line crosses over the River Khwae Yai via the Death Railway Bridge. Nearby, thousands of Allied soldiers are buried at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery.

Arrived in Kanchanaburi and took a traditional longtail boat (Reua Hang Yao) ride on the river. We have been here before and visited the War Museum, this time we decided the town and river was worth visiting.Leggi altro
