Lounge Hopping

Hmmm good start. Flight delayed, not sure how long, flight was 9.50 am. So lounge hopping it is. Breakfast at Perroni and drinks at Plaza Premium Lounge.
On Board

So far, over an hour and half late. Good on you, Flying Kangaroo.
Finally

Nearly 2 hours late and finally in the air.
2 movies and some reading with some not very good meals and about to land.
So Bangkok

Around the Hotel

A quick walk around the Hotel before we become Tourists.
Museum Siam

Tourist is our name today so we took a cab to Museum Siam. Definitely worth the visit. Old people like us even get in for free, the Museum is very interactive and very informative.
Kau Cim (Fortune Stick Reading)

At the Museum we took a fortune stick reading. John number 1 and his was a good reading. Mine 14 and I was not impressed so took another one. and it was number 23 and way happier with the result.

Vivi the Coffee Place

Guess what, time for coffee on the river front. The coffee in Thailand is better than Oz. Cake a little iffy but edible.
Chocolate

The hotel has a chocolate cafe. I'm not sure we will test the chocolate, but I took photos of some examples of very cool looking chocolates.
Took at Tuk Tuk

After coffee, it was time to head back to the hotel, so we decided to take a Tuk Tuk. The driver was great, even stopping in China Town to buy coffee beans for his wife.
Poolside

Time for a dip in the Pool. It was freezing so I only stayed in for a few minutes. John on the other hand did some rehabilitation exercises for his knee to ensure it can stand up to all the activitiesWeiterlesen
Lunch by the Pool

Lunch and cocktails by the pool. Can you get anymore of I am on holidays feeling and photos. Lunch was yummo. I had green curry, John a burger.
Walk to Night Markets

Leaving Bangkok

This morning we leave Bangkok and drive to River Kwai. A few more days of not doing much. The drive is about 4 hours with an occasional stop for sightseeing. Our guide Lid is lovely, very talkative,Weiterlesen
