White Temple

After 2.5 hour drive north, we arrived at our first attraction for the day. On arrival it is an incredible sight. The White Temple is so ornate it was actually hard to take it all in it is so intricate with beautiful and scary/creepy sculptures everywhere.

White Temple is regarded as one of the most beautiful temples built in this century. A masterpiece of artist Chaloemchai Khositphiphat, famed for his extravagant and unique Buddhism related paintings, the temple reflects the artist’s grand visions of heaven, hell and Nirvana.
