The 'white' parts of the glacier are visible near the top & near the water.

We saw some who took a tour of the glacier via boat.

Tasman Glacier View Trail

After finishing the Hooker Valley Trail, we grabbed lunch in the Hermitage Village. We decided we still had a little more 'oomph' left in us, so we went to the Tasman Glacier View Track.
The trail was .35 mile up 249 ft to the Tasman Glacier viewing area. At 22km long, an avg 1.6km wide & 600m deep at its thickest point, the glacier is New Zealand longest.Lue lisää
