What a cracking spot. Cyclists everywhere and a lake that looks too good to be true on a day like today. Sadly, everyone is exhausted so after dinner it's bedtime. The walk back from the Zeppelin restaurant included seeing the Seebuhne; I'm still trying to decide whether Henry is old enough to watch the Bond film so famously set there. (Strangely, I watched a reply of the Theroux / Dench interview on the plane this morning - a lovely piece of TV.) A little taken aback by just how much graffiti spoils the town, maybe there's more to living here than meets the eye?! And the smoking / e-biking paradox needs explaining to me. Local Bregenz soccer team were playing tonight - hats off to the stadium announcer who did his best to rouse the 50 or so souls watching. I think the usual crows were all sipping beers on the waterfront. Absolute bliss.Read more
