We left Penola and crossed the border into Victoria. This was marked by an immediate deterioration of the road surface. We bumped and jolted our way through Casterton and Coleraine, stopping in Hamilton to tour the Sir Reg Ansett Museum. Hamilton was the base for Reg's first air service using a 6 passenger Fokker in the 1930s. The history of Ansett Air was on display and we were quite enthralled, the displays evoking many memories.Read more
