Cruising to the Top - Nordkapp!

Day two in our Hurtigruten cruise of Northern Norway took us around to Honningsvag where we docked and when on a day excursion to Nordkapp or North Cape- the furtherest point north on mainland Europe. An interesting experience during the polarlys- when there is no sun until the 22 January and only a couple of hours of twilight. It’s beautiful up in this part of the world- cold, but I wouldn’t change anything- i think I was born in a cold climate in a previous life!! We have also been lucky to have seen the northern lights( although only weak ones) on both nights on the ship. Tomorrow we arrive in Kirkenes and stay at the snow ❄️ hotel and go hunting for attic king crab 🦀Leggi altro
