Cruising to the Top - Nordkapp!

Day two in our Hurtigruten cruise of Northern Norway took us around to Honningsvag where we docked and when on a day excursion to Nordkapp or North Cape- the furtherest point north on mainland Europe. An interesting experience during the polarlys- when there is no sun until the 22 January and only a couple of hours of twilight. It’s beautiful up in this part of the world- cold, but I wouldn’t change anything- i think I was born in a cold climate in a previous life!! We have also been lucky to have seen the northern lights( although only weak ones) on both nights on the ship.
