After a huge sleep until around midday, I figured I should probably get myself out of bed and make something of the day. This was somewhat successful, although most of the day was spent continuing to explore the Old Town and the surrounding areas. I grabbed some food, wandered around for a while longer and eventually made my way back to the hostel.

The guy who had replaced Holly in my room was from the UK and seemed pretty chill. We got chatting, and he invited me to join him on a drive through Albania. Getting around Albania isn't particularly easy, so having a car would be a huge advantage. I told him I'd definitely be keen and that I'd message him about it. He was also keen for a night out, and I told him that this hostel was pretty much the perfect place for exactly that.

The night started with some Rage Cage. It was fun, but it wasn't really getting me drunk enough, so we moved on to beer pong. Eventually, my new roommate joined us, and the pub crawl started. I still felt like I could use a bit more alcohol, so we once again visited the shot bar and grabbed a couple of shots. That seemed to put me on the right track. I had a few more beers and eventually met a guy from the Gold Coast. We hit it off and started drinking pretty heavily together. At some point after that, my memory starts to get a little hazy. Unfortunately, I forgot his name and never got his socials, otherwise he would have been good to catch up with later in the travels or once I return to Aus.

Given that most of the day was spent wandering around and partying, I didn't take many photos. So, unfortunately, the main photographic evidence from today is just a very nice plate of tortellini. Not exactly the most exciting collection of travel photos, but at least the pasta looked good.
