Cairns

On our way up to Cairns we stopped half way to spend a day on Magnetic Island. We finally got a day of lovely sunshine and had a great time exploring the beaches. The girls decided to go on a horse trek which was amazing. We rode down to the beach, then took the saddles off so that we could swim in the sea bareback. The horses loved it too!
Cairns was our final stop - we mainly just relaxed here. Doug went on a trip to the great barrier reef which he said was great but I gave it a miss as I felt that might be one boat trip too far for me!
We then said goodbye to Laura and Jane and headed to Darwin for 8 weeks work. With an average daily temperature of 35 degrees we hoped the clinic was well air conditioned!Leggi altro
