Sightseeing & Car #2 Pickup

We decided to hire a Camero SS for the rest of our trip but because of the expensive drop-off fees, we would drive from Las Vegas to San Diego to pick the car up, hoping to do some sightseeing on the way.

Needless to say it's been a really REALLY long day.

We left Las Vegas approx 9.20am before driving to Mojave National Preserve, Kelso and Joshua Tree National Park before heading to San Diego to pick up the car. We also saw the smoke from the nearby wildfires in San Bernardino. In the photos attached you can see how dark the sky becomes from the smoke.

When arriving at San Diego Avis, we were informed the Camero SS we had ordered wasn't available. After much fuss, we left with a V8 Dodge Charger (read: Adam happy)
