    XL jump comp

    I had a sleep in this morning. Theb i went and watched Owen compete in the jump comp. I saw his 2nd run and he is fucking good.
    Then i went to trivia with Will and joined up with another team of girls. Alex, who I keep bumping into through out the season was on it.
    Went back to will and played speed of light or something on his computer. Pretty fun but not blown away.
    I also got the second interview for educo email and an interview for strathcom lodge on Vancouver island which I think I would prefer.    Read more

    Rock climbing

    I had an early start at work because there was a bus load of people leaving.
    So I got to finish early which was good because I was heading to kelowna.
    We headed down at about 5 and went rock climbing. It was good to get back on the wall.
    Did a big shop. I went 5 weeks for $250 which I'm impressed with.

    Strathcona park interview

    Had an earlier start at work to start stripping beds early.
    Then just folded all day.
    Had my interview with Starthxona park. I think it went well but not likely as my start dates would be off and I dont actually have any work experience.
    But she said she would think about it and talk to her colleague. It would be pretty great if it worked out.
    Then i went up stairs for dnd because nat and will were house sitting. Took a while to get going, and it was a lot of just walking around and talking to people. Then it got quite late and we called it at 11 without giving actually done much.

    Super red wolf moon

    Worked until 4 in lundy.
    Daria came around and picked up her bananas and almond milk ad then played foosball with another guy in the building while I meditated with Krislin. I think I was a little bit jealous.
    Krislin was crying because shes frustrated that everyone at work is always hungover or sitting in the rooms and not working.
    I gave her some advice which I hope helped.
    She then came to the meditation class with Daria and I.
    Had a couple of other new people too. I'm running out of ideas to focus on through out the week.
    I asked them to observe their emotions through out the week and take a pause.
    After meditation we found out there was a super red wolf moon, full lunar eclipse.
    Turned out we had like an hour before the best viewing.
    Daria and I snow shoed up one the runs, built a couch, had some oats and listened to music while watching the eclipse. It was pretty fucking cool. Nice close night.
    I had been planning on telling Daria that I wanted to be something more but now I have a date on Wednesday, so if that goes well then I dont want to have said that to daria in case shes interested too. And it through me a bit when she was playing foosball with the guy cause the last time I kissed her was when she said she was going on a date with some one. So I didnt want it to seem like every time she mentions hanging out with another guy I make a move.

    EDUCO Group Interview

    I had a group interview for EDUCO which I think went quite well. It was a skype call with 2 other candidates. We had to come up with a theme for a 10 day intermediate girls program. I suggested "passing through the narrow gate" building confidence to choose the path less travelled.
    They said we'll find put within a week.
    I didnt end up going skiing today, just sort of laced about until work.
    I got a verbal warning at work for being inefficient. I need to have more initiative during the day and go and collect laundry. And I need to make sure there isnt any laundry left over after a night shift.    Read more

    Daria goes to Florida

    Got first lifts with Pheobe this morning. Poor vis so we stuck mostly to the trees, had a good ski though.
    She had work so I went and did a lesson.
    It was good, did bumps, steeps and trees.
    Finished work at 7 because there wasn't really much there and I'm feeling awkward now.

    Bumble Date

    I messaged Chelsea last night saying it was meant to snow can we get first lifts. She said yes but then I got a message at 1:30 this morning saying she wasn't going to make it. I was kind of glad about that because I wasnt sure how good she would be and I wanted to make the most of this new snow.
    We got 14cm over night and it's a blue bird day.
    Had an amazing first few runs with Gareth. Definitely the best morning skiing I've had so far.
    I ended up meeting up with Chelsea at 12 and we had a nice afternoon. Had a chat at the black forest lodge.
    She ended up coming back to mine for some tea and toast. Then we ended up watching a movie on the couch, the second hunger games. Had a cuddle straight off the bat which was awesome.
    Gareth get a little uncomfortable, which I get.
    We made a green curry and then watched the third hunger games.
    Had a bit of a kiss on the couch. Fuck I love the touch of a girls body. Chelsea is pretty beautiful, skin is so soft and she has amazing hair.
    She ended up staying the night, just cuddled. I had a broken sleep because I want to touch her all the time and kept nearly falling off the bed.
    She seems to be quite into me which is nice. Just keeps complimenting me.

    Chelsea

    Woke up and had some morning cuddles. Ahhh so good.
    She kept saying how wet she is and how much my touch turns her on but doesn't want to have sex because we just. I dont mind not having sex, love a good build up of suspense.
    Made her avocado on toast and then we went for a ski.
    She was meant to start work back down in kelowna at 10 but switched shifts to start at 12 so she had more time this morning. Then she called in saying she had a minor concussion so that she could stay the whole day.
    We had a good ski again. Came in for lunch and ended up watching the last hunger games, we were both pretty tired.
    Had a bit of lie down/cuddle in bed before dnd.
    She wanted to come and watch as she had played before.
    She didnt realise how long it was going to take. A few hours in she was like this is the longest game shes ever seen. I said we probably still had another few hours. So she went to her friends.
    I nearly fucked up and nearly killed my character. I think it pissed Will off a bit. We got through though.
    I messaged Chelsea when we were done and she came around and stayed the night again.    Read more

    Hockey Night

    The morning cuddles with Chelsea got extremely heated. Fucking hell she is sexy.
    We walked out together, me to work her to her friends.
    She was saying how giddy she is and how she misses me already, how is she going to get through a whole week.

    I was on commons today at work.
    We all went to the hockey that night down in kelowna. Everyone was pretty rowdy, drugs and alcohol. I hung out with Dan and Andy mostly. It was a fun night.    Read more

    Australia Day

    Zoe called me in when I got t work and said that they dont want me to feel like I cant do my full hours, it's just that everything needs to be done, because I finished at 7. They give me a couple of beers too.
    Brad wanted to get out early so I pushed what I could.
    I stayed back to help him finish so he got out just after 5.
    When I got home i realised Gareth was away tonight. I called brad and asked if I could get a nugget off of him. He gave me an indica. I came home cooked some dinner, smoked a joint on the balcony, drank my beers and watched spider man. Good night. Not my normal rowdy Australia day.    Read more

    Circle of concern meditation

    Stripped rooms all morning. Got a bit annoyed because renee was telling me I needed to time manage the machines better. Cant be bothered going into it.
    Meditated with Krislin after work. Haven't meditated all week, which might be why renee annoyed me so much.
    Trying to remember why I meditate, and its for everyone else's benefit.
    So this weeks class I made the focus to think about your circle concern when making a decision, performing an action and see how far out you are and whether that affects the decisions.    Read more

    High Ski

    Smoked a small joint to start the morning. It was a blue bird day and was quite nice skiing a bit high. I just flew down the groomers. I think it work the high out quite quickly.

    Mount Knox

    Got a lift down to kelowna with Nat in the morning. Met up with Chelsea for a date.
    We decided to walk up mount Knox. Got some things to make sandwiches for lunch. It was pretty cold on top, but was nice brewing a cup of tea and having lunch.
    Then we walked through down town. Went to the pulp fiction cafe. Had a game of chess at one of the pubs. And the got some amazing ramen and wasabi.
    Then she came to walmart with me and I walked her home.
    I went climbing for a bit before nat picked me up again.
    I really like Chelsea, she seems to have alot of fun. Shes pretty sexy too, when she gives those eyes.
    Wasnt able to stay because her house mates are a bit weird about it.    Read more

    Vegan banana cake

    Decided I was going to finally make my vegan banana cake now that I felt like I had all the ingredients.
    Then I realised I didnt have a sieve. I asked will if he wanted to come and bake with me.
    It was fun, he made a lemon cake and my banana cake turned out really well, I was surprised.
    He got dnd ready for tonight and then we went and did yoga down at the kids centre. Came back and had a fun game of dnd. Couple of new girls, Tamara and Mo, they got the hang of it quite quickly I think.
    Daria got back from Florida tonight and came around and said hi.
    I have a funny feeling she might have changed her mind about me. While she was away she was saying she missed me and was looking forward to seeing me and asked if it leave early and travel with her.
    I have slip in that I met Chelsea.
    But also like I think Daria would be a cool person to be with, we would motivate and support each other to be better. And Chelsea is really cool too, very positive and outgoing person, but I can't help but think I'm just "choosing" her because I find her really sexy.
    I also dont want to hurt either one, and feel like daria and I could maintain us even if I was with Chelsea.
    Anyway, something to think about. I'll probably just bring up that I went on a couple dates next time I see Daria.    Read more

    Still hasnt snowed and it's pretty icy so I decided to just have a chill day at home.
    Corey wanted to swap shifts so I'm working tonight instead.
    Started meditating and doing yoga again today.
    Feel better already.
    Vacuumed the house, tidied up the house, took out the garbage, did my finances, felt good getting stuff done and not watching Netflix.

    Priorities meditation

    I went straight from work to yoga in the kids centre. We did a couple of the dedicate sessions.
    Then I went home and looked for the quote from the power of now I wanted to use for meditation.
    Then we did meditation which went well I think. This week we're working on asking ourselves is there something else I should be doing right now. And either fully accepting that you're going to relax and enjoy it or getting up and doing the thing that you feel you should be doing.
    Then we went to the hot tub. I got into a bit of an argument with an old lady in the spa because I felt she was being quite ignorant and racist. I fee pretty bad because I'd just gone from meditation speaking about have compassion for people and then got a but fired straight away.

    Carving lesson and XC ski

    Went for a 10 am lesson and we worked on carving. I started to get more of the hang of it towards the end.
    Came in from the ski and Daria messaged to cross country skiing. It was pretty fun. I'd only used cable bindings, so these tiny little things took a while to get used to but they are so light.

    Really fucking cold

    Went for a ski with Gareth in the morning. It was something like -22. We just ripped around for an hour or so and then went in.
    Had work at 330 but finished at like 8. Daria came around and we watched the first part of century of the self.

    Ski Patroll #2

    Had to he at ski patrol for 7:45. It was -22 degrees or so in the morning. -37 on top with wind chill.
    I rugged up pretty well and used some hand warmers which are a life saver.
    I got paired up with TJ and he was alpine pod leader and on black forest.
    The bullet was closed because of wind so we put up fences and closed signs first off.
    We did one run of millies mile and nearly got to the bottom when we got a call for an injury.
    It was a 72 yo man who had fallen off the side heading down to black forest.
    He had a pretty bad memory loss. Couldn't remember how he got there or what he had for breakfast. It was cool seeing the first responder ask him if he remembered the 3 three things he asked him obviously before we got there.
    The old man didnt know what he was talking about.
    They wanted him to stay on the ground but he was pretty insistent on standing. Then we did a standing spinal take down when the toboggan was ready.
    We left once he was loaded. Did a couple more runs at black forest and then went up to the alpine for coverage. There was a dislocated shoulder at the bottom of the ridge rocket, so TJ and I skied to the top of the ridge, got a toboggan and took it all the way down. They gave him antinox and loaded him into the toboggan.
    We took another replacement to the top of the ridge, I got to have a practice of skiing the toboggan to the chair. Feels quite good although it wasnt very steep.
    Not alot else happened really, just tried to stay warm in the alpine hut. Picked their brains about avalanche stuff.
    It was a fucking cold day.
    Went straight from ski patrol to Mo's to play dnd. It was a really good session, we started early so we got through alot. Getting better at pacing my spells and stuff.    Read more

    Banana cake #2

    I went for first chair with pheobe, pretty cold so just did about an hour.
    I had a bath when I got home, reading zen physics.
    Baked my second banana cake with whole wheat flour. It turned out really well. Then I ended up watching harry potter and the order of the Phoenix as I've been wanting to watch the later ones and they just got put on Netflix.
    Then I went and did yoga in the kids centre. Daria came back and we meditated in the pitch black. She was really cold, poor thing.
    Then I met up with will, nat and heather at globe and we had vegan tapas. It was delicious, only 30 bucks.
    They came back and had some cake and played a couple of games.    Read more

    Calls back home

    I was on commons today but helped Brad strip beds for alot of the morning. Finished at about 4:30.
    Joe had called me, turned out he had been emailing me about the walk footage he was going to send to my family and stuff.
    Them dad called, he had been thrown to the ground by 2 police men in the middle of the night.
    Then mum called, she was in Melbourne and might be coming to Canada with dad now.
    Spoke to fitz, he was going camping. Been planning stuff for Canada which is exciting.
    Spoke to Trot, he seems really well. Always a laugh talking to trotter.
    Then I watched harry potter and the half blood prince. The movies skip so much when you've read the book.    Read more

    Crumpton

    Pretty chill day at work, Brad was feeling sick so wasnt coming in for the night but I pretty much finished everything. We got a bunch of food too.
    Boudie messaged me during the day saying that Crump hasnt been doing too well and that he might appreciate a call.
    Fuck yeah Boudie, that was really cool of him.
    I had a call with Crump, he said this has been the toughest part of his recovery. He started having a real problem with prostitutes, needing to borrow money to go see them.
    But he stopped that now.
    He's planning on doing steroids now. He feels like he needs to be doing something and it's always to the extreme. Wants to rebel and is tired of being sober.
    Wants to have a connection with someone.
    He isnt talking to his sponsor about it because he doesn't want to be told no.
    I hope he feels ok.
    Fuck he's funny though, I'm always laughing when I talk to Crump.    Read more
