• Lincoln's boyhood home

We stopped at a little store for ice and my humans grabbed a biscuit sandwich. It looked so good. It was all fresh, including the homemade biscuit. Regina said it was like eating a cloud. What else would you expect from a place that says they sell Bubba burgers!
We stopped at a place later on for gas and they had a dog park. My humans realized that they had left my leash back at the VRBO. I had ran as fast as I could to get into the car and I didn't let them put on my leash. We used a bungee cord as my leash until we could get a new one.
We drove to Elizabethtown, KY and found a pet store. I was really happy because not only did I get a new leash, I got a matching collar yea!
We then went to Lincoln's boyhood home. They took turns going inside the park museum. While I waited outside, I got lots of people telling me what a good girl I was and how I was so pretty. All 3 of us walked a mile to see the log cabin which is inside a building. Did you know that President Theodore Roosevelt placed a stone to start building 100 years after Lincoln was born. Lincoln must have been someone special. Now that I'm thinking about it, Roosevelt must have been special too. After this long day, we went to our hotel to rest.
