BKK>Khao Sok

Second day of the journey to South Thailand. We had about 4 hrs sleep in our 'motel' and headed back to the airport for a 7am flight to Surat Thani. We had seats together but unfortunately for Tom, he was squished in! We arrived in Surat Thani and the next few hours did not go smoothly. I'd prebooked the bus to Khao Sok from Surat Thani Town after being unable to find one from the airport. People there guided us to an unhelpful desk who sent us to get a bus which had already left, so then made us pay 500 baht to get a taxi to the town!!! We waited for the bus which was late, got on, and the first stop was... The airport! Madness. Robbed. Anyway, we arrived in Khao Sok and rang Green Mountain and the man came to pick us up. We checked into out little hut and not long after the dog was going crazy at something. It was the monkey swinging in the trees teasing him! Later on we got a lift to the town, which was full of tourists but it was small, cute and chill! We had a drink on some beanbags and then got a banana and Nutella roti. We got a lift back whilst gazing up at all the stars in the sky which was beautiful! We tucked ourselves into the mosquito net and with the sounds of the loud snores from other huts it was time to call it a night.Læs mere
