Khao Sok day trip

We booked a day trip through our accommodation and got picked up around 9am after a mostly peaceful night in the hut! The journey was long with maybe a 2 hour bus journey and and hour boat journey. Today we seemed to be surrounded by annoying families with kids, starting with the family who didn't want to go on a different boat so we had to. We arrived at the floating bungalows and there was a good buffet spread on which was ideal as we were ravenous. Rice, noodles, coconut chicken and fried chicken. After that we got a kayak and enjoyed kayaking around the lake and dipping in for a swim. Getting back onto the kayak and off the kayak was definitely not my forte! We opted to stay at the lake rather than go on the hours hike to the Waterfall. On the way back we stopped at diamond cave where we saw lots of little bats hanging. We got unexpectedly drenched on the journey back too!Les mer
