    Eungella

    June 9, 2021 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

Staying a couple of days at Neem Hall. Angela has a zoom lecture and there seems to be enough wifi here. Nice spot by a river and grassy field. We are 50 metres from the next camper. Not many campers, not sure why, there are other places that are packed. Maybe because this place has no shower or toilet, only river water (clean and tastes good)The owner has chooks, goats, turkeys running around & a couple of border collies that love chasing balls. One is even into soccer and dribbles and flicks the ball with his nose. Decided to stay a few more nights, walked Finch Hatton gorge and had a look around Eungella Nat park. Didn’t see any platypus. Had a look around Cape Hillsborough. Very scenic around Mackay area, cane fields and green pasture with a background of mountains. Went to the local show, horse events, wood chopping, motorcycle daredevil riding fireworks etc. bit of fun. Time to move on. Been here for 7days, probably the most time we’ve spent in one spot.Read more
