Karaoke night

Nach meinem kleinen Ausflug nach Luang Prabang, der etwas anders ausfiel als geplant, ging es zeitig am Morgen mit dem Zug wieder nach Vientiane. Das mit dem Zug fahren habe ich letztes Jahr schon getestet und bin nach wie vor über den Komfort erstaunt. Aber ist für laotische Verhältnisse auch nicht annähernd so günstig, wie z.B. in Thailand. Nur bei der Netzabdeckung unterscheiden sich die laotische Bahn nicht von unserer.😉

Heute war nochmal ein kleines Get-Together mit meinen Freunden geplant. Getroffen haben wir uns zum Abendessen im Coffeeshop einer Kollegin (hat sie letztes Jahr gerade eröffnet, als ich da war) und ich musste ganz schöne Überredungskünste anwenden, um die Rechnung für den Abend übernehmen zu dürfen. Wozu ich nicht überreden brauchte war, eine Flasche Champagner für uns zu erstehen, um auf den Abschied und das Lao-Neujahr anzustoßen.

Schnell wurde aus dem Get-Together ein Karaoke-Abend, aber sehr selbst. Nach singen kam dann auch noch Tanzen dazu und es war in Summe sehr sehr lustig und schön, sie wiederzusehen. Am Ende des Abends haben wir uns verabschiedet und ich habe von allen nur gehört „See you next year!“. Ja, wahrscheinlich.☺️

After my little trip to Luang Prabang, which turned out a little differently than planned, we took the train back to Vientiane early in the morning. I already tried out taking the train last year and I'm still amazed at how comfortable it is. But by Laotian standards it's not nearly as cheap as in Thailand, for example. The only difference between the Laotian trains and ours is the network coverage.😉

Today we had another little get-together planned with my friends. We met for dinner in a colleague's coffee shop (she had just opened last year when I was there) and I had to use a lot of persuasion to be allowed to pay the bill for the evening. What I didn't need to persuade was to buy a bottle of champagne for us to toast our farewell and the Lao New Year.

The get-together quickly turned into a karaoke evening, but see, what happened. After singing, there was also dancing and all in all it was very, very fun and nice to see them again. At the end of the evening we said goodbye and all I heard from everyone was "See you next year!" Yes, probably.☺️En savoir plus
