Pamplona

Made it to Pamplona! My first big city! I splurged for a private room today so that I can do some laundry (in the sink) and have a peaceful night without anybody snoring in the bunk next to me. My walk was absolutely beautiful today with lots of varied scenery. The path into the city was full of small churches and cafes and I happily made some detours. Once I arrived in Pamplona, I met up with Terry and Maria (my friends from back in Bayonne) and we explored the cathedral together. It was so stunning. When we finished our wine and tapas at 9:00, we were ready for bed but Pamplona was just starting to come alive.
