We had a leisurely start to the day after brunch in Twizel at the lovely Mint cafe. We headed off to the Ohau canals following these for a while. After a snack stop at the edge of the lake we continued on an off-road track, across the Ohau weir & on to Lake Ohau village. The lodge where we stayed was a few kms on from the village.
