• Day 10 - Last day/words

    Because we had to leave for the Airport at 15:00 and still needed to pack, Only Liam and Clemens went out in the morning. It was by now evident that the sea was not in a "giving" mode in the morning so L&C came back empty handed.
    Packed, had lunch and a quick nap and waited for Junior the driver and his Toyota Fortuner. Said our goodbyes to the Kruger and extended family. Everytging did not "keep going well for the Toyota" in the 4.5hr drive to the Airport with the first gear not operational. Pit stop to check the oil levels and carried on. Made it in time for check-in and boarded at 10pm.
    All in all I really enjoyed the time at Camp Yetu, aka "Fokkolgevangdam" for me, with good friends and family.

    I set out to realize a life dream in catching a Tarpon (Megalops Atlanticus) on Fly. Maybe I raised the bar too high all those years ago when created this dream, read every available piece of literature, history and scientific books on Tarpon. I realized that one should chase your dream sooner rather than later. DO IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN! They say MS is not a handicap per-say. I wish I did it sooner........ J
