Wandering the City

After Holyrood, we just wanted to wander around and see things. We finished our bus tour and then got some food, fancy drinks from The Alchemist, and then wandered the Royal Mile. Wallace stopped in 3 whisky shops in like 15 minutes. It's bonkers how busy the city is, but it's also what I expected. (It's also too bad, but the bin workers are in strike, and what better leverage to use than when the city is crazy busy. It's been about a week and there is litter everywhere. It's pretty sad to see the city in this way. I hope they get the money they deserve.) We meandered our way down The Mound and then wandered into a cute pub called the Auld Hundred on Rose Street. Finally, we caught some fireworks for the end of the Tattoo, and headed back to QMU to crash for the night!Leia mais
