My time in the unexpectedly compact city of Liverpool can be described as a wild mixture of all things artsy. I came across several murals as well as contemporary art in the Tate, before I experienced my first ever comedy show in the Hot Water Comedy Club right next to my hostel. It was amazing, but the history Liverpool has with Germany led to quite some banter with the host when he involved me in his warm-up bits. Luckily I was allowed to stay and had a blast! All five comics were great and the 100+ attendees rewarded them with lots of positivity and cheers. On a final note, I celebrated National S'mores Day despite not yet being in the United States, and discovered my new favorite sweet.En savoir plus
