The bus ride to Edinburgh took nine hours, which is about the amount sleep I got throughout my three nights at the snoring-infested hostel room. But the capital of Scotland was restless itself as the monthlong Fringe Festival lured so many tourists onto the streets that even the sidewalks became congested. Still, my visit to Edinburgh came with two highlights: The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and hillwalking up to Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park.
