    Balloons and Petroglyphs

    October 12, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

Started the day early and watched the Dawn Patrol leave and then the winds brought them back and then they headedt. The mass ascension began and you could see hundreds of balloons in the sky at the same time. The rally provided breakfast burritos today. They were quite tasty with green chilies. Then Tom, Denise and I went to Petroglyph National Monument. We went to the visitor center first for a short movie and then you could drive to 3 different locations to see the petroglyphs. We went to Boca Negra Canyon. Native American ancestors scratched the petroglyphs into the volcanic rock.
Balloon Glow and fireworks yet to come this evening.
