Across Tennessee

We left Memphis in sunshine, but it soon gave way to clouds. We saw lots and lots of cotton fields in Western Tennessee. As we crossed the mountains there was some color in the trees. As we passed Knoxville we spied a tower with a gold sphere on top. I did not get a photo, but googled it. It was a relic from the 1982 World's Fair. It is a historic landmark called the Sunsphere. The top is made from glass infused with gold dust. Stopped for the night in VA. It is raining now. Home tomorrow.Læs mere
