From Cathedral Coffee to Tapas Tango

On our first day, we explored both capitals of the island. The former capital, San Cristóbal de La Laguna, enchanted us with its historic checkerboard-style old town, where we savored coffee and cake with a cathedral view. Then, we ventured into the Anaga Mountains, immersing ourselves in the mystical laurel forest and enjoying breathtaking views from Mirador Cruz del Carmen. We also admired the colorful hillside village of San Andrés, built right into the slope. Finally, we discovered the current capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and were captivated by its unique atmosphere, reminiscent of Tehran, with its multi-level architecture. After nearly 30,000 steps, we ended the day with an unforgettable culinary experience at the counter of an authentic tapas bar.Weiterlesen
