    La Paz and the Moon Valley

    Started the day with a good refreshing breakfast. Alfa and his wife decided to go shopping so I went for a walk on my own.

    From Plaza Mayor I set for Plaza Murillo & the government palace and then to Plaza Villanueva. From there down to Avenida 16 de Julio, which is the main road in La Paz. Somehow La Paz feels like a small version of Lima. Building, streets, neighbourhoods are similar just closer than in Lima. Plaza Sucre at the end of Avenida 16 de Julio feels like Ovalo de Miraflores in Lima. From there 16 de Julio changes to Avenida 6 de Agosto as we enter a more upscale neighbourhood.

    I grabbed a Taxi and went to the Valley of the Moon, just South of La Paz. In here, mother nature has carved the rock for centuries, creating some curious shapes good for a photograph. My guide here was Luis, a local kid happy to tell me about this paradise.

    Back in La Paz, spent some time buying souvenirs and getting ready for the journey back to Peru
