Well it looks like we got across the Nullabor in time. They had 49.9 yesterday being fairly hot to melting I would say. Only 42 here atm 🌞 really windy & dusty though.
Trying to sort out our fridge power supply atm. It is soooooo hot it is running all the time.
Got a powered site last night & tonight to help the poor battery.
Temps have dropped now, but the wind is still around.
Even though we were camped right on the beach, we didn't want to go swimming. Just too hot today.

Beautiful. That is almost hot enough to melt your tyres! Warm here again today but cooling down for Xmas Day. Peter & Santa excited for the "Santa De-Brief" this year. I think Martin asked Peter about it on day one. :) Hope you avoid the fire areas as you head further east. Most of Oz is burning. Lots of smoke haze today. Everything looked yellow all day. Safe travels. Hoping you get some cooler weather soon.

suemacHope everything goes well with the photos and the De-Brief!! We have to keep checking daily as we travel. Smoke is really bad here due to Kangaroo Island. Weather has been much cooler yesterday and today.
