Had a great trip up through all the natural old springs. Must have been 100s of them. Not too many still flowing now. Jubilee springs is still bubbling enough to keep the pond full & the birdsЧитать далее

Decided to give the Grey Grasswren a miss. Too hot and a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack.
This spot is one the locals use on weekends.
Well how exciting is this.... the water level is rising so no camping on the lake!! It is coming up reasonably fast. We will camp up at the shearing shed tonight.
Having a night out in town. Kieran is staying here for work for 8 weeks. Goes home most weekends. State of Origin tonight so the pub may be busy!

Myall Park is very dry and a lot of vegetation has died unfortunately.
Got back about an hour ago. 2350kms. One new bird with a possible other once an ID has been given.
