Christchurch via Mount Cook to Queenstow

Mega early 6.15am.start for a one way bus transfer to Queenstown.
The route passed mount cook and the church of the good shepherd, so seemed like a good option
The company called the cheeky kiwi was excellent. They provided snacks ,drinks and lunch with thoughtful stops along the way for people to use the bathroom 🚻
I did manage a glimpse of Mount Cook ...lovely but lacked the wow factor of Mount Fuji in my opinion
There was an opportunity to walk around the area and see the Tasmin glaciers but I was sooo cold . I took refuge in the hotel ,bought a hoody in the shop,had a pizza in the cafe and got into the Sir Edmund Hilary exhibition for free thanks to an Indian family who said did I want to go in ...it would have otherwise been Nzd 25dollars.,and wasn't worth that.
It was a long day arriving at the hostel at 7pm ,and having to do automated check in
