Epic day,Greenland from sea and air

An epic day where we woke to the most Icebergs in one place sp far and the most ice in the water.
It was extremely exciting to get in the Zodiacs and go through the surface ice ,past Icebergs to see the glacier ..We had to be really careful going through the ice on the water ...
Whilst out in the Zodiacs we spotted a rainbow over the ship and I stood in the Zodiac singing somewhere over the rainbow!😅
Not sure our guide and 2 of the passengers appreciated it but the others are from the group im spending time with and they thought it was funny ..one even said I had a good voice.
With the engine switched off the Zodiac, the silence was really special.
Our driver Yvonne is a Geology specialist who was very knowledgeable
Some of the passengers tried sea kayaking through it and it looked really difficult.
This ship...the Ultramarine, has 2 helicopters on board and in the afternoon, the weather was finally good enough to go up in the air
It was incredible to see the glacier from above...a vast expansion of ice but we are reminded its receding .
In the evening we had the daily debrief and were encouraged to stay up to see the highly probable sunset ..as it was a clear evening...overall the weather has been dull ,cloudy ,drizzly with the odd exception.
Sunset was amazing and I ended up staying up till just after midnight chatting with our group of ladies.
The photos cannot do justice to the overall sight of the area.
Its vast and each iceberg is 100% unique and different ..no 2 Icebergs are the same...resulting in taking an insane amount of photos 📸
