Belize City, Belize

After an early wakeup and breakfast at the buffet, we were off to Belize via tender. Boarded bus to learn a bit of history on the tour from Derek. 1 Hour drive to dock for boats to Lamanai ruins.

Here Wilfred, took over and guided the boats to the ruins for an hour ride. Along the way we spotted various wildlife: monkey, crane, stork, parrot, crocodile, and other various birds. The ruins themselves consisted of 3 structures "temple of the jaguar" "temple with the mount" and "mask temple". Wilfredo was very knowledgeable about the ruins and guided us through the 3 sites. After the return to the dock, we had lunch and did some shopping. We bought a wooden bowl.

Bus ride back to the port and did some more shopping before finally taking tender back to ship.

Trivia and dinner. M: gnocchi in pumpkin, tilapia & plantains, strawberry sherbet. S: quesadilla, salad, tilapia, chicken .
