    We started with the keel and I think at this point we didn't realize how big of a job it will be. Removing all layers of antifouling, primer and rust as well as all the old silicone from the keel seam. I always have thought I love silicone, what a great material to work with on the sailboat, but now I'm coming to think of it again it's rather a love and hate relationship, love applying it and absolutely hate removing it. This work took hm almost 4 full days and both of us. Very tiring as most work was overhead just after the 1st days we had aches all in our upper body. Well it's safe to say we both lost it a few times and questioned if we will finish on time, but slowly and surely we were getting there. ( We had only 9 days to smash out all the work as all the boats had to be lifted on the 15th of April). In the meantime we got to now all the other boat owners in the harbour and they were all so kind and helpful trying their best to support us. I also went to Trondheim with a long long shopping list that's was rather challenging as I had to go around to 4 different stores as the ship shop was closed longer due to Easter - but anyhow I managed to fill my 60L backpack full of goodies and returned to the ship happily ready to shop of everything I got 😎Read more
