Launching dah has arrived 👏

The day of launching arrived, and of course we were not ready yet, but luckily helped arrived yesterday (Anto and Lily) and we smashed out all the last minute projects before lifting. The proud owners Clement spent a minute to admire the keel work we have done and our prop could not be shinier 😎 What a moment to see an 11ton boat in the air and then suddenly in the water. We were very excited to head out the same day but slowly we realised that was not realistic. The genoa got stuck which took almost the whole afternoon and both me and clement had to climb the mast ( I almost puked which worried me as we haven't even started the real sailing yet I was already seasick). Luckily Sven our neighbor had the same furler before and he run to help and rescue us without him it would have taken I think days to figure out what was wrong. We ticked of the last minute shopping finally got gas for cooking 👏 and we could refill out water tanks, the only problem was it tasted awful 😂 so it was time to clean the water tank. And the projects just kept coming our way and around 6pm we agreed we need to spend one more night in Okanger and we try to wake up early tomorrow and head out. So it was time for a celebration drink after 2 hard days of work, but not yet for the champagne as we agreed only to open it when the sails are out ⛵ Our first night in the water with gently moves, we had the best night sleep.Läs mer
