Dinefwr

When Joyce came to visit we made the most of a dull-ish day & headed up to our nearest National Trust property at Dinefwr where we were able to visit Newton House - Joyce had many memories of visiting this with Les as he had undertaken the Emergency Site plan for this property when he volunteered for the National Trust. We walked down the Boardwalk in the woods through the bog lands & down to the pond. Then we went over & looked around the house & had a coffee in the cafe. The NT have now made arrangements for disabled drivers to drive across a very large & steep field & up to the Castle so we were able to see around the quite impressive ruins for the first time too.Lue lisää
