Leticia

Off to the Amazon! About ten days before our flight back to Berlin, we flew from Bogota to Leticia, the gateway to the wild, wild South. Leticia lies right by the river and serves as a sweltering and surprisingly chaotic 3-way border with with Brazil and Peru. Honestly, not the loveliest destination on our journey thus far, but a great spot to get our bearings before heading off into the jungle.

Auf zum Amazonas! Etwa zehn Tage vor unserem Rückflug nach Berlin flogen wir von Bogota nach Leticia, dem Tor zum wilden, wilden Süden. Leticia liegt direkt am Fluss und dient als schwüle und überraschend chaotische Dreiländergrenze zu Brasilien und Peru. Ehrlich gesagt, nicht das schönste Ziel unserer bisherigen Reise, aber ein toller Ort, um sich zu orientieren, bevor es in den Dschungel geht.Read more
