It supposedly lost its glory but personally I appreciate this rough and pure beauty more than all the shininess. But the Burmese where pretty thorough in decapitating the Buddha sculptures. Bizar! Some heads got lost in threes. Others were reattached. Most of them sit proudly but headless.Read more
