Moving hotel

Tonight we take the train to chiang mai. Aprox 900 km and 13 hours. We booked the option sleeper with airco for yes yes 22 euro pp! What an indulgence. And an indulgence it is. We start with “royal” seating in a nicely cooled compartement (airco is an absolute must since it was extremely hot and humid today) and than the Stuart transforms our seats into a truely comfortable bed with view, sheets pillow, blanket and everything. On different stations food sellers enter the train and sell tot man plah, rice, grilled chicken and pork and a lot of other unrecognisable stuff. Sleep well!Read more
