Northland part 2 - new year

We decided to spend new year back up in Waipu - we didn't really have anything organised because we were waiting on the car and NZ is notoriously busy at New Year. Waipu caves has a free campsite and it's in the middle of nowhere so we thought we'd give it a try. Ended up getting quite drunk in a car park while all the teenagers partied in the caves.. an odd start to 2018! We headed into Waipu for the new year highland games the next day. Great fun until the rain washed the whole thing out at about 1pm!Weiterlesen
