Northland part 2 - new year

We decided to spend new year back up in Waipu - we didn't really have anything organised because we were waiting on the car and NZ is notoriously busy at New Year. Waipu caves has a free campsite and it's in the middle of nowhere so we thought we'd give it a try. Ended up getting quite drunk in a car park while all the teenagers partied in the caves.. an odd start to 2018! We headed into Waipu for the new year highland games the next day.
